Schwartzel earned a $1.44 million paycheck with the win, twice that of Adam Scott and Jason Day, the two golfers tied for second place. Day and Scott earned $704,000 each, a solid consolation prize for coming up just two strokes short. And what about Tiger Woods, whose final round charge electrified fans and the crowd at Augusta National Golf Club. Woods, Luke Donald and Geoff Ogilvy, tied for fourth at 10-under, each earned $330,667 for their efforts.
